Dr. Steve Nuttall is Head of Financial Services Consulting at YouGov. He joined YouGov in October 2007 from the Financial Services Authority where he was Head of Retail Product and Consumer Research. He has 20 years experience in social and market research mainly working on financial services and housing issues. Steve is an authority on consumer indebtedness, mortgage finance and financial capability. He has also worked in Government, having helped build HM Revenue and Customs research function and prior to joining HMRC, Steve was Head of Private Housing Research in the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister. He has a PhD in mortgage finance from South Bank University.
Rick Ginter
Director
Rick Ginter is a Consulting Director at YouGov. He has an MBA in Marketing from New York University and 20 years of market research experience. He has worked for an investment banking firm (Credit Suisse First Boston) as well as in the financial services division of a management consultancy firm (American Management Systems). Rick has also worked for research suppliers in the UK, US and Sweden, conducting research for American Express, JP Morgan, Bank of America, Citicorp and Folksam among others. He is experienced with all phases of qualitative and quantitative research (including conjoint) as well as all audiences (business, consumer and employee).
John Cogswell
Director
John Cogswell joined YouGov as Financial Services Director in April 2008. John spent 10 years at NatWest Bank, working as an economist before moving to specialise in providing market and customer insight across a number of the banks’ businesses. He has over 20 years experience of analysing continuous financial tracking data both as a provider of such data and as a client executive specialising in data analysis.
John joined Ipsos MORI in 1997 and was responsible for managing a large scale syndicated financial tracker in its entirety and has many years experience running bespoke research modules for clients on the tracker which are used for data modelling and analysis. John has been most involved with the work done for a number of agencies focusing on the area of personal debt and sub-prime borrowing. John has an honours degree in economics from Brunel University
Rupert Sinclair
Senior Analyst
Rupert Sinclair is a Senior Analyst at YouGov. He has a BA in Sociology with statistics from University of Sussex. He has worked as a researcher for the National Centre for Social Research and has a strong statistical background. Rupert has also worked for the BBC, Carphone Warehouse and the University of Sussex.
