Customer and Stakeholder Research
The Public Sector team has substantial experience of creating and delivering customer and stakeholder research programmes for executive agencies and NDPBs. We recognise that relationships with stakeholders can be complicated and often sensitive. We tailor our approach using quantitative and qualitative methods to gather a rich picture of the customer experience. However we firmly believe that the process doesn’t end there, we apply our experience and techniques to ensure that research findings drive business improvement.
Performance / Service Delivery
The approach to performance management is changing within government. The number of PSA targets was cut to just 30 in the 2007 CSR and lower level performance frameworks for services such as policing and health are following suit, with fewer indicators and increased focus on service delivery. With fewer indicators and direct links with delivery and service transformation, the Treasury has set the challenge for performance improvement. YouGov assists organisations to measure and improve service delivery by charting outputs and integrating performance metrics across management information, customer insight and employee engagement.
Public Perceptions, Branding and Communications
With access to the YouGov Panel, our daily Omnibus and BrandIndex, we are ideally positioned to take the pulse of the UK population. We can examine the public reputation, perceptions and attitudes towards clients and, with online surveys that can present video clips or images, we regularly test awareness and recall of advertising campaigns or communication materials.
Policy Research
YouGov helps organisations to lead public policy debates and lead the news agenda. Our research enables clients in the public and third sectors to develop and refine policies from a sound base of evidence. Furthermore we understand how the evaluation of policies, projects and programmes can drive process improvement and the lessons learned from assessing the impact of policy changes are crucial for future policy development.
